Barcelona by Night: What to do and where to go
We recommend you to start your night adventure through the streets of Barcelona dining and having a drink, because bars and discos start from near 12 at night. Yes, you read right! The best nights are on Friday and Saturday, and also Thursday nights, where the youngest and university environment is the protagonist.
Start your tour in neighborhoods like Raval, Born or Gràcia, neighborhoods that we like especially. Why? Because you can see the cultural richness of the city and how coexist bohemian atmosphere places with very cool restaurants, or terraces with cosmopolitan atmosphere and, at the same time, without forgeting its origins.
If you prefer less bohemian or alternative neighborhoods to live Barcelona at night, you can go to Poble Nou, the Olympic Port or Port Vell and you’ll find everything without moving much.
If you’re not very fond of crowds, the terraces of many hotels in Barcelona, from other well known neighborhoods like the Eixample, are open and you can enjoy a cocktail with good city views. All in an intimate and peaceful atmosphere. Who said that Barcelona was stressful?
If you prefer to walk at night, opt for the mountain of Montjuïc, which gives you spectacular views of the city. You will find many viewpoints from which to admire the views and from which to obtain an overview of film. Yes, because Barcelona at night gives off a very special magic, and it is thanks to the lighting that makes it a different city.
Have a drink in any of the bars or beach bars with your partner or friends, watching a movie at one of the outdoor cinemas that are now enabled in summer, attend concerts organized in neighborhoods, admire the enlightenment of its most emblematic buildings… To get bored in Barcelona, both day and night, is not possible.
