If the first half of April was amazing in musical proposals, the second is not less. Discover with To do Barcelona legendary concerts in the last half of April:
We start with the quintessential artist in Indie music scene. Since publishing “La joven Dolores” and the compilation “Un caso sin resolver” both in 2011, Christina Rosenvinge had no new material. Also, after an anthology it is a must to reinvent itself, and that is what has made the singer with “Lo nuestro” (2015), published with Primavera. Inspired by seemingly different figures as Luis Cernuda, Louise Bourgeois, Nikola Resla, New Order, Franco Batiatto or Yoko Ono, the new work is recorded in semi-electronic format and with the complicity of the always inspired Raul Fernandez “Refree”. We can see her, of course, in the Guitar BCN 2015 in L’Auditori.
16/04. L’Auditori, Lepant 150, Barcelona. 21:00h. 25€
We change location but no festival. The Guitar BCN brings us a legend of the house and minimal music. From London, Matthew Herbert and his band present its new album, “The Shakes” (2015). And if that were not enough, in 2015 it is the twentieth anniversary of their first album, and their performances will include a review of their best known hits.
20/04. Barts, Paral·lel 62, Barcelona. 21:00h. 25€
And we come to one of the most awaited concerts of the year. The Kraftwerk 3D show returns to Barcelona after his performance at Sonar two editions ago. And it will be at the STAGE of Barcelona, the Gran Teatro del Liceo.
ATTENTION: The group want that tickets -a maximum of 3 per buyer- include printed ID card number of the buyer. The nominative tickets will not allow access to the Liceo without the holder of the ID associated with the purchase.
22/04. Gran Teatre del Liceu, La Rambla 51-59, Barcelona. 21:00h. 15-135€
And we continue with great legends. Morrissey, “l’enfant terrible” of British pop and former leader of the Smiths, returns to Barcelona six months after his last visit to show again his latest album, “World peace is none of your business” (2014), the tenth of his solo career, this time in Razzmatazz. An album that collects the combative Morrissey line with songs like “The bullfighter dies”, in which he celebrates the death of a bullfighter, or “Spoken Word”, which criticizes the greed and incompetence of politicians.
29/04. Razzmatazz, Almogàvers 122, Barcelona. 20:00h. 55€
