Dubbed “The Wizard” or “the Miles Davis of techno”, with three record labels behind, it can be said that he invented the profession of DJ as we know it today, in the mid-eighties. His marathon sessions of Detroit-techno are remembered by any clubber who has heard him in any of the countless clubs.
