To go out in Barcelona is easy, fun and unique, from Monday to Sunday, whenever you feel like going out, this is the only thing to worry about, because there are a lot of places to live the night any day of the week.
It is not difficult to find pubs, bars and clubs open until late at night, specially in the most central areas, as well as more focused on nightlife. For us, there are four that stand out above the rest, do you want to know?
Where to go out in Barcelona?
Aribau, the most exclusive area of Barcelona
Aribau Street separate the two Barcelonas in Via Augusta; in Sarria-Sant Gervasi we will not only find the most glamorous side of the city, but also nightclubs, pubs and upscale restaurants like SoHo, the Barroko’s or Costa Breve.
Not far from there, the area of Santaló, Maria Cubí or Tusset stand out for musical cocktail bars and places where lengthen late a good dinner by. The most important names here are the Sutton and Bling Bling, although there are many options
Eixample, too many options to choose just one
Among the most central areas to party in Barcelona, the Eixample is undoubtedly the most heterogeneous of all. This highlights the Merlin, simulating a medieval castle with long sessions of commercial music, and house and electronic music of Distrito Diagonal; Still, there is much more: karaoke? Almodobar; classic? Imperator; ¿Vintage? What about the Alpha or Trauma?; Guaranteed fun? Velvet, Oak, Balmes 51, Slow, Mojito Club…
Ciutat Vella, Gracia and Sant Antoni
If you go to the sea or to the mountains, we offer very different things to the typical music bars and uptown clubs. In Gracia, the atmosphere is more alternative; Sant Antoni, the moderneo has taken over the streets until midnight between wineries and bars to have a light dinner and in Ciutat Vella you will find trippers bars, as the Time Line, and proposals for another century as the Absenta Bar; also rock’n’roll in Psycho, Vinil, Cassete Bar… And you will not forget a night at the Jamboree or the Luz de Gas!
Promenade: the Olympic Village of Barcelona
To end our tour we have to talk about the most popular area for party: if you love to move among tourists, macro size proposals and variety of genres, the Olympic Village seems the most logical choice. There is Pachá, Opium, Shoko or the Catwalk, now renamed Danzatoria.
Enjoy the best places to party in Barcelona, and do not forget that there are many more! As the Sala Apolo, next to Paral·lel, the BeCool in Sarria-Sant Gervasi, the City Hall, next to Ronda Universitat, or the multi-talented Razzmatazz in Poble Nou.
