Poblenou is also the perfect place to reveal another of the faces that will be discovered in Barcelona: the path to the cemetery of Poblenou, where you move to s. XIX through a tour of 29 graves of famous people who lie here. This was the first extramural cemetery in the city, opened in 1775, and you can admire fabulous modernist and neo-classical mausoleums. Some sculptures, like the Kiss of death, will leave you speechless.
